The inside shock absorbing shell has a round oval shape.
The US / EU market version is an intermediate oval shape.
This helmet will fit well on Asian head circle (round oval) shapes.

Size and fitting
All of our exhibits are Japanese market models.
Japanese / Asian market model and US / EU market model.
The shape of the inner shell is slightly different.
The Japanese / Asian market is a circular oval (close to a circle). For the EU market, it is an oval in the middle (long front and back). But the difference is small.
We sold a lot of helmets to the US / EU. See our feedback!
If you are concerned about the fit, please order one size larger.
Tightening the loose fit is easy.
Arai has an interior kit for adjustment.
Alternatively, use a commercially available sponge tape.
If you are Asian, the inner shape of this helmet fits perfectly.
